Who We Are
At Equinox Care Collective LLC, we provide heartfelt doula services for both birth and end-of-life support. Our unique approach is rooted in compassion, with a focus on holistic care and a sliding scale payment program that ensures everyone can access our services. We believe in embracing life's transitions with dignity and support.
Meet Our Team
Maya
worked with Sara during my pregnancy and postpartum and it was one of the best decisions I made for my whole pregnancy experience. After experiencing a second trimester loss with our first baby, my husband and I just needed a little extra support and Sara ended up being the perfect choice to provide that for us. From the very beginning she brings a gentle, knowledgeable, non-judgmental, and a supportive presence. She has first hand experience in both natural and medicated deliveries but doesn’t push one over the other. Both during pregnancy and postpartum she was an incredible resource for any questions I had no matter how small and even just for validation of the overwhelming feelings that come with pregnancy after loss and then being a first time mom. I have actually known Sara for many years and can personally attest that not only is she amazing at what she does as a doula, she is also from her very core an amazing, gentle, and caring soul and is absolutely someone you want in your corner when bringing new life into the world. I cannot recommend her enough!

I cannot recommend Sara enough! She was so extremely helpful before, during and after childbirth. I really was looking for an advocate during labor, and Sara was that for me and more! She helped my husband and I craft our birth plan and prep for labor. As mentioned in other reviews, she does not push you in any direction and truly supports you for whatever type of birth you’re hoping to experience. She was so helpful during labor- physically and emotionally helping me through contractions. It was so nice having another support person and another mother who has experienced this before by my side. It kept me feeling calm but also empowered. My birth didn’t go as planned and was out of my control, but Sara was there every step of the way to talk through all of my concerns and made me feel comfortable during what was a very vulnerable time! Sara also checked in postpartum which was nice to have someone check in on me and make sure we were transitioning at home well. All I can say is, if you are on the fence about having a doula— you’ll never regret the added support or access to the added resources she has! It was truly what I needed and more
